Timetables are out of date

NJ Transit updated tier schedules this week, and this app has not.

IOS 8 killed the alerts

Liked and used this app daily until IOS 8 killed the train status, time and track alerts. No response from support so I cancelled my subscription.

This app is terrible!

The schedules are never updated or accurate! Dont waste your money on this app!

Updated schedules for 11/9 were not entered and the app put me on a train that no longer stops in my town. Total bummer. Cost me time with my family.

Not updated for iOS7 or iPhone 5 screen size

Its just not acceptable to sell this app without updating it for current devices… or devices that were current nearly 3 years ago. Im also unable to get data in spite of a full signal. Reading other reviews it seem the app is not being maintained or updated.

Helpful and dependable app but...

Really needs an update for the latest screen sizes and a UI polish.

Use to be okay but hasnt worked right in a while

This app use to be okay but as of late has had some real issues. If you pay for pro sometimes the app stops working. Email support does nothing than reassure you they are aware of the problem and the app doesnt post all trains available. I take a short trip from Newark to New York and the app misses about a 3rd of the trains I can take.

iPhone 5/iOS8 update?

This app is pretty decent. Seems to work fine for me. However, I do wish itd be updated to use the entire iPhone 5 screen. Over three years without an update? Has this been abandoned?

Broken in last update?

Purchased app and pro membership because it seemed most promising of similar apps and because I dont commute anymore i thought the alerts would help me avoid missing trains at Penn Station. Unfortunately no matter how hard I try I cant get them to work. Uninstalled, reinstalled, reset the iPhone, and the either settings are greyed out or give an error message they cant be saved. In either case the alert buttons wont move to initiate alerts. When I sent support a note and it alerted me that in effect a response would be sent when they get to it. Not pleased , but hopeful it might be fixed in a timely manner.

Useful for commuters

When I’m in Penn Station, I can’t tell whether or not a particular train stops at my station or not. This app solves that problem, and it lets me know when trains are late or canceled. I can also see the latest alerts. Unfortunately, the data can only be as accurate as NJTransit supplies it, and NJTransit doesn’t always give out a lot of information. As I go to Penn Station, I see trains that haven’t arrived at the station as having the status of “All Aboard”, but the same information can be seen in NJTransit’s webpages too. Some trains aren’t canceled until 10 to 20 minutes after they’ve passed. Again, that’s NJ Transit’s fault. Despite these issues, I use this app every day. Where I’d like to see some improvement? * It would be nice if the app shows all trains. For example, if an express follows a local, but the express will get there first, the local doesn’t show up on the schedule. The problem is that the express — although not in the station yet — shows up as “All Aboard” when the local is in the station, and I get on the local not realizing it. Again, this is NJTransit’s issue, but it would be nice to see the locals on the schedule. * It would be nice to see all the stops the train makes and not just the stops between the origin and destination. People ask me if a train will stop at a particular stop, but I can’t always tell. * The schedule updates are not always there — although it’s been pretty good for the last year or two. There were times I had to wait a few weeks for a schedule update. Meanwhile, the app didn’t show any trains. * A way to select “Today” for the schedule.

Subscription scam?

This app doesnt have much competition, so I guess thats why they can get away with the $2.99 price tag. The $.99/mo subscription fee for "pro" features is a bit of a slap in the face especially when two of the three pro features seem to be missing: Push Alerts (for delays and track info); and tech support - a real problem when the previous feature is not working.

No more uncertanity

I commute on the NEC and the people traveling on that line know how busy its is, but the best part is that it works wothout internet!!

Push notifications do not work

While marginally better than the Embark app, the selling point for this app is push alerts. except they dont work - buttons to set push alerts dont work and cant be set.

Pro subscription does not work

The Pro-Subscription feature (push alerts) does not work. In fact you cant even setup an push alert after purchasing the pro subscription. Also, the developer was completely unresponsive to my support email. I wish I had bothered to read other reviews before purchasing the pro subscription.

Scam

Dont give this guy money. The pro features dont work and the Dev doesnt care or respond to emails.

TERRIBLE Support

I have found broken features, asked for help, am a paid subscriber and NOTHING from the company. Going to ask Apple for a refund. Will find an app that actually works and where the company cares about its customers.

Buggy application with terrible support

I purchased pro subscription to find out that all promised features simply do not work (push notifications cannot be enabled). This maybe a bug, bug feels like a scam (I paid for futures which do not work). Train schedules are incorrect in case of nj light rail (missing most train times). Developer completely ignores support emails. I do not recommend this app.

Horrible

I used the basic (free) download a few and thought it would be nice to get push notifications. They do not work. Ive tried deleting and reinstalling, restarting and emailing support (no response -- and based on these reviews, I shouldnt expect one.) Im planning to contact apple App Store to have them refund my $.

Doesnt work after update

After updating, i no longer get track or delay updates due to app transport security policy requires a secure connection error. Please fix.
